I think the book was intended to help us adapt to change but I don’t really see a parallel between the fabricated and factually flawed fable of penguins on a melting iceberg and what we are facing at work.
I don’t know if I should feel more, or less, secure as a result. It is not going to be easy, and there are going to be people who will try to stop you. People who don’t work in the corporate world often succumb to the temptation to believe in wild conspiracy theories about plans for world domination by evil corporate overlords.
This book was written as a fable of a group of penguins, they acted exactly the same way as humans. Even if it is a small problem or the biggest problem dealing with people is the same.
